Job Description

Description We are looking for a PC Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Sacramento, California. This role is focused on providing technical support to a school district, including device setup, maintenance, and basic repairs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Chromebooks and a strong ability to manage hardware-related tasks in educational settings. Responsibilities: - Unpack, label, and document new devices for students and staff, ensuring accurate inventory management. - Clean, reset, and configure Chromebooks to prepare them for redeployment. - Perform basic hardware replacements such as screens, batteries, and keyboards for Chromebooks. - Assist with the installation and removal of wireless access points under the supervision of network engineers. - Support other technicians in addressing on-site technology needs within the school district. Requirements - Familiarity with computer hardware and basic troubleshooting techniques. - Previous experience working with Chromebooks is preferred. - Ability to safely lift and transport equipment as needed. - Comfortable working in educational environments and interacting with staff and students. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Reliable transportation and punctuality to meet work schedules.
