Position: Payroll Specialist
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours/week)
Industry: Manufacturing – Mid-sized company
Location: Montreal (Hybrid – 3 days remote per week)
Salary: $75,000 to $90,000, based on experience
Software: UKG (an asset)
Handle both unionized and non-unionized payroll, in line with multiple collective agreements
Manage government remittances, journal entries, and year-end reconciliations
Prepare year-end tax documents (T4, RL-1, W-2, etc.)
Work closely with the HR and accounting teams
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices
Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. payroll legislation.
