Patient Treatment Coordinator Location Mississauga, ON L5M 1M2 :

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating patient care by coordinating treatment plans and ensuring smooth communication withpatients.. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage electronic medical records effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans and appointments.
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure all necessary information is available for patient treatments.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of resources and time.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient interactions and treatment updates.
• Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, and any necessary follow-up care.
• Assist in managing insurance verification processes and explain coverage options to patients.
• Collaborate with other office staff to enhance the overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• Dentrix or another dental software is an asset.
• Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology is essential for effective communication with healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
