Looking for experienced City Driver with their AZ license interested in doing local deliveries in a day cab transport with a 31ft trailer. Looking for 1-2 days a week. We are a local trucking company that delivers in the food service industry in Windsor, Essex County and Chatham Kent. The food service is a very hard working industry and it is all year round.
This is a very professional industry as you are in charge of a large vehicle and at the same time in charge of 10-12 deliveries a day. Liftgate style deliveries. Must be very professional, good at working under pressure, multi tasking and time management. Listed are the qualifications needed to apply within our company.
-Must have a valid AZ License with minimum 2 years experience.
-Must have drivers abstract within 30 days.
-CVOR history
-Must be able to lift 80 plus pounds regularly.
-Must have basic customer service skills.
-Must be able to read and write English.
-LOE from previous employers would benefit you as well stating you drove for the company with an AZ and the time period.
-Must be able to operate a hand held android scanner.
-This is a fast pace physical job. If you are lazy or injured this job is not for you, don't waste your time. If you like to drive but not far and like to maintain a physical healthy lifestyle than this job is right for you.
-Home every night
-Hours are around 3am to 1pm (have to beat the traffic) Multiple restaurants provide keys for early morning entry.
