Order Picker / Stand-Up Pallet Jack Operator (Receiving & Lumper Experience Preferred)
Location: Ashland, VA
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking reliable, motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team in Ashland, VA. This role involves order picking, receiving, and lumper-style unloading in a fast-paced distribution environment. Ideal candidates have experience operating riding stand-up pallet jacks , handling freight, and maintaining accuracy under production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate riding stand-up pallet jacks to pick, transport, and stage orders
Perform order picking, packing, and material handling duties
Assist with receiving shipments , unloading trailers, and verifying product counts
Perform lumper duties , including manual unloading and pallet breakdown
Use Apple tablets and warehouse systems to track orders and inventory
Lift, move, and stack products weighing 40–50 lbs consistently
Maintain accuracy, productivity, and quality standards
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Qualifications
Prior experience operating stand-up pallet jacks required
Previous order picking, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
Lumper or unloading experience is a plus
Comfortable using technology/tablets for order management
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Dependable with a strong work ethic
