Job Description

Currently Seeking: Must be Local to Fort McMurray. High Pressure, Confined Space Entry Laborers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate high-pressure wash systems (20,000 PSI) to clean tanks, pipes, heat exchangers, and other industrial equipment.
  
• Use water jetting and chemical cleaning techniques to remove buildup, sludge, and contaminants.
  
• Handle and maintain hoses, nozzles, and pressure controls.
  
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials following environmental regulations.
  
• Enter confined spaces such as tanks, vessels, and pits to perform cleaning, maintenance, and inspections.
  
• Work in confined areas with proper ventilation, lighting, and safety equipment.
  
• Follow strict confined space entry procedures, including air monitoring and using supplied air respirators if necessary.
  
• Communicate with safety attendants and team members to ensure safe work conditions.
  
• Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment at job sites.
  
• Perform manual labor, including lifting, shoveling, and moving hoses or cleaning tools.
  
• Support other industrial cleaning tasks as needed.
  

Requirements:  

• Clear verbal and written English
  
• Required Safety Tickets (Must be issued by Energy Safety Canada): H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, Fall Protection, Common Safety Orientation.
  
• Other Safety Tickets (Preferred): First Aid Level C, WHMIS, CSTS
  
• Previous experience working in various environments (i.e., remote sites, confined spaces, heights, noisy environments, and extreme weather conditions); Industrial pulp and paper and/or oil and gas experience is also an asset.
  
• Swamping experience is an asset (i.e., Vacuum and Hydro vac work).
  
• Experience working with High-Pressure Water Blasting Equipment is an asset.
  
• Experience working with chemicals is an asset.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license (preferred).
  
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and shifts.
