Expected Start Date: April 14, 2025 Union: SUN Facility: Martensville Primary Health Centre City/Town: Martensville Department: Primary Health Services - Region Defined Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: April 24, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Standby Hours of Work: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: No Job : Provide primary health care services to the community, which includes health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services. Implement therapeutic interventions (including pharmacotheraputic) for chronic, stable and common conditions. Utilize and synthesize from multiple sources appropriate health assessment and differential diagnosis of client/patient status. Assess need for ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory, radiology and ultrasound diagnostic tests. Work in conjunction with the client, family and health providers to develop and implement holistic treatment, interventions and support. Be part of a diverse interdisciplinary team working in the Warman/ Martensville area. May work with teams at other primary health centres. Provide educational support for students including nursing, medicine and other disciplines. Will support and participate in multi level chronic disease management strategies (individual, family and community). Assist individuals, families and communities to increase knowledge, control and influence of health determinants in the maintenance and improvement of their health status.
