Network Security Engineer Location Toronto, ON :

Position: Network Security Specialist

Client: Financial Services Client

Location: Toronto - Hybrid

Duration: 3 Months initial contract

Background:

Kyndryl Canada is supporting our Financial Services client and their project to migrate network technologies. We require a Senior Network Security Specialist who has experience with Palo Alto and Check Point to complete the migration.

Qualifications:

· Extensive experience working with the latest Cisco technologies including IPS.

· Ability to work on-site in downtown Toronto, multiple days a week.

· Experience working with installation and configuration of Check Point and Palo Alto technologies.

Responsibilities could entail:

· Plan and execute hardware refresh cycles for Check Point and Palo Alto technologies;

· Conduct thorough pre-refresh assessments to determine hardware end-of-life status and compatibility issues;

· Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure that all hardware upgrades meet the latest security standards and compliance requirements;

· Document all hardware refresh activities, including maintaining detailed records of system configurations and changes;

· Provide training and support to other IT staff on new hardware features and functionalities

· Stay informed of new technology trends and updates related to Cisco IPS, FireEye, Check Point, PAN, and Broadcom.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 3 months

Pay: From $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
