Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes.
• Perform welding on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.
• Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
