About This Opportunity

CCE is seeking a highly competent individual who is experienced with careful delivery of fragile goods.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • You will be responsible for the delivery and pick-ups of diagnostic ultrasound equipment within a 1,500km radius of 2710 3 Ave NE.
  • Safe driving practices and expert navigation skills are mandatory.
  • Must exhibit careful handling of heavy medical equipment.
  • Ability to load and unload ultrasound equipment to a delivery truck with secure strapping during transport.
  • Strong communication skills are mandatory. This individual will be in regular communication with clients and the CCE team, and must present themself professionally.
  • Responsible for delivery truck preventative maintenance and upkeep, and building relationships with automotive repair facilities.
  • Collaboration with and CCE team members for delivery and pick-up scheduling.
  • Must exhibit efficient time management skills.
  • Packaging all equipment going out for deliveries - this may include assisting with building wooden crates, efficient use of packaging materials, etc.
  • Must maintain excellent punctuality and attendance record.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to learn

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in a similar position or having similar responsibilities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory, university/college accreditation is an asset.
  • A valid Alberta Drivers License is required.
  • Must have clean Driver's Abstract and criminal record search.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and provide proof of eligibility
  • Candidate must be proficient in promoting road safety and adhering by Alberta safety protocols.
  • Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Compliance with all safety rules and procedures.

Compensation:

  • $20-28 hourly wage depending on experience and proficiency. Annual salary is negotiable.
  • Job Type: Per Diem (Apx. 5-20hrs per week)
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
  • Location: Calgary (Based from 103-2710 3 Ave NE. Calgary, AB T2A 2L5)
