Do you want to be a part of the fastest-growing entertainment concept in the world? Does helping build brands through world-class communications interest you? We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist to develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and customer engagement. This role focuses on email marketing, content creation, and community engagement while managing multiple campaigns.

This is a full-time, permanent position. We are looking for this role to join our team at our Winnipeg corporate office, but remote out-of-province candidates may also be considered.

The Duties And Responsibilities

Email Marketing & CRM

  • Plan, create, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns.
  • Establish and implement email marketing strategies to drive e-commerce and retail growth while nurturing the existing email community.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies to improve engagement and conversions.

Community & Partnerships

  • Collaborate with PR and influencer agency to enhance Activate’s brand presence.
  • Respond to marketing-related inquiries and partnership opportunities.
  • Manage school fundraising and donation requests.

Marketing Operations

  • Support marketing efforts for new store openings, including coordinating required marketing materials and establishing store presence on platforms including Google Business, Apple Business, and TripAdvisor.
  • Support new store opening campaigns including awareness campaigns, generating email list signups, and opening promotions.

The Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on email marketing and CRM.
  • Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mail Chimp, Klaviyo, etc.) and running campaigns across channels, including email, SMS, and App Push Notifications.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and execute flawlessly on projects in a fast-paced environment and see a project through to completion.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication with strong writing and editorial abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Passion for digital marketing and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Experience with Paid Advertising Platforms and Graphic Design tools are not required but would be considered an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or other relevant field considered an asset.
