We're seeking a versatile Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and help us develop efficient manufacturing systems and processes that improve our production capabilities. If you're a creative, hands-on problem solver who thrives on innovation and optimization, we'd love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Production Lines: Organize and streamline our production line to maximize efficiency and output.
  • Improve Quality Processes: Develop and implement systems to enhance product quality and ensure consistency.
  • Sourcing & Testing: Identify, source, and test components, materials, and machinery for manufacturing.
  • New Product Development: Collaborate with the design team to create new products and their associated production processes.
  • Material Integration: Test and evaluate new materials, integrating them into our products and production lines.
  • Enhance Machinery: Improve existing production machinery for greater reliability, precision, and output.
  • Invent & Innovate: Design and build new pet products, along with the production systems needed to manufacture them efficiently.
  • Production Analysis: Monitor production performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation for processes, machinery, and product designs to ensure replicability and compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including product design, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of systems and ideas.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience Required: Proven track record in manufacturing engineering or related roles, with experience in optimizing production systems and processes.
  • Versatility: A generalist engineer who can excel across a wide range of tasks, from process design to machinery improvement.
  • Skills & Qualities:
    • Strong knowledge of production line organization and optimization.
    • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Fusion360) for designing products and machinery.
    • Experience with sourcing and integrating new machinery into production environments.
    • Understanding of materials science and testing methodologies.
    • A hands-on approach to problem-solving and an ability to innovate creatively.
    • Passion for efficiency, precision, and product quality.
