Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process design, improvement, and production efficiency while ensuring quality and cost optimization. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of hands-on experience, strong floor communication skills, and a proven track record in continuous improvement within a cross-functional team environment.

Job Description

• Process Design and Improvement: Develop and refine manufacturing processes, including automation, to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production process.
• Production Scheduling: Manage production schedules and optimize resource allocation.
• Technology Implementation: Research and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing processes.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Cost Reduction: Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Document Management: Create and maintain manufacturing documents, including process plans and drawings.
• Project Management: Manage projects related to new product development and process improvements.
• Team Leadership: May lead or mentor technical and engineering staff.

Skills Required

• Floor Oriented
• 5-7 years of manufacturing / process engineering experience
• Ability to read prints
• Proven record of continuous improvement
• Fiberglass experience is a plus
• Automotive / Agricultural experience is preferred
• Floor communication skill is a must…. Shop talk…working with assembly workers
• IE work is secondary, but accepted
• Demonstrated focus on safety
• Absolute ability to work within a cross functional team
• Ability to work autonomously when needed
• Tool design experience is preferred
• Basic metrology; calipers, straight edge, measuring tape.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Highschool diploma or GED.

Pay Rate/Salary

• Base Compensation: $43/hr to $47/hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
