Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance. Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools. Credentials. Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. Machinist Trade Certification. Machinist Red Seal Endorsement. Experience and specialization. Measuring tools. Micrometers. Callipers. Gauges. Computer and technology knowledge. Mastercam CAD/CAM.
