Location: Ottawa, Canada (Hybrid Mode*)

As the Manager, Talent Solutions and Senior Advisor to the Vice-President, you will be joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion and equity while being responsible for:

Developing and monitoring the People Strategy, ensuring alignment with and support of IDRC’s strategic objectives and business plans. Participating in key strategic and operational discussions and decisions related to our talent through the coordination of core program and operational activities. Leading and supporting a dynamic team of professionals, offering strategic direction and operational guidance to ensure the effective delivery of talent-related services. Acting as the senior coach in the organization, making decisions on leadership and management coaching requirements. Developing and implementing Branch-wide processes to implement decisions, streamline procedures, operations, and facilitate communication.

You Have:

An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Administration or other related fields. A master’s degree or a Membership within a certified professional association is an asset. Proficiency in both French and English (reading, writing, and speaking). Ten (10) years of experience with progressive responsibilities in various fields of organization or human resources management systems, including talent management, strategy development, policy planning, organizational development and design, employee or labour relations. Five (5) years of experience in the management of a team. A strong understanding of corporate obligations, able to oversee mandated reporting and ensure compliance with organizational commitments.
