The Manager, Global Procurement (Services Procurement) is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the category plans for the assigned high value/high complexity and high-risk category/categories.  This role also leads the contractual and commercial negotiations with third parties on medium complexity/medium risk transactions and supports the negotiations on high value/high complexity/high-risk transactions for the assigned category/categories.

What you will do

  • Supports the development of the category strategies and annual category plans for assigned high value/high complexity/high risk category/categories (Business/Professional Services – Contingent Labor)
  • Negotiates contractual terms and conditions, detailed statements of work (SOW), pricing, service levels, and executes agreements for the assigned category/categories
  • Researches and consolidates procurement activities, in KPMGI and member firms, and identifies potential opportunities and risks
  • Supports stakeholder demand planning and reporting activities for assigned category/categories and promotes improved stakeholder engagement
  • Participates in Global Procurement’s continuous improvement program by identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and/or better align to stakeholder needs
  • Maintains subject matter expertise and stays on top of industry, market, and supplier trends
What you bring to the role

  • 4-5 Years, strategic sourcing / global procurement experience working within the contingent labour/ professional services procurement category

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience

  • Certified Procurement professional qualifications are desirable.

  • Have knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices

  • Have sound commercial and contractual acumen - Be able to help draft, negotiate and execute strong contracts

  • Understanding of supplier management (managing technical, schedule, commercial, and terms and conditions compliance
