Job Description

We are looking for a machinist for our recognized partner for the manufacture of custom machines, instruments, and components.

Here is a list of services :

• General Machining (Conventional and CNC)
• Milling (Horizontal and Vertical/Conventional and CNC)
• Turning and Drilling (Conventional and CNC)
• Grinding (Surface and Cylindrical)
• General and precision machining of shafts, sleeves, rollers, and all other machinery parts.
• Ball bearing and knife sharpening.
• Gearbox and keyway repair. "Splines"
• Instrument and part manufacturing for production or individual production.
• Machinery built according to your instructions or drawings.
• Complete machine rebuild
• Research and development: On-site engineer
• Technical problem-solving services
• Welding services
• Sharpening
• Assembly
• 3D printer

Required profile: We are looking for a machinist to operate a conventional and CNC lathe. Ideally, you have:

• Trained in machining (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient use of a conventional lathe.
• A good attention to detail and a passion for quality work.
• A passion for machining and manufacturing quality parts.
• Team spirit and the desire to be part of a small, close-knit team.
• A willingness to learn and improve.
• Residency in Quebec (applications outside Canada will not be considered).

Main Duties

• Set up and operate a conventional lathe to produce precise parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Work with quality equipment.
• Collaborate with other machinists to solve technical challenges.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Share your skills with the team.

Languages:

• Spoken and written French - Poor

Experience: 1 to 2 years
