Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant

Watson Goepel LLP is a growing and dynamic full-service law firm based in downtown Vancouver, with offices in West Vancouver and Surrey. Our Vancouver office is conveniently located near the Burrard Skytrain station and a wide range of shops and services. We are currently seeking a Litigation LAA to join our Vancouver office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organization and management of files, paper based and electronically.
  • Drafting correspondence and court documents
  • Communicating with clients, experts, and opposing counsel, etc.
  • Opening and closing files
  • Client invoicing and billing
  • Management of lawyers' calendars, bring forward system, meetings, and appointments.
  • General administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' LAA experience in a law firm.
  • Graduate of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work.
  • Knowledge of Elite and Worldox an asset

Salary range for this position: $55,000 - 65,000 annually
