**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant to join the IRS Reporting Team as part of Commercial Mortgage Servicing. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com. **In this role, you will:** + Learn and support multiple processes related to IRS reporting and tax withholdings. + Support W-8 & W-9 reporting of taxes, as well as prepare year end statement for borrowers + Report operational losses across Commercial Mortgage Servicing, managing a general mailbox for reporting and various internal requests + Analyze and compare reports to identify the population of withholdings, accommodations, and exceptions/exclusions, which may vary by portfolio, and coordinate across business partners to resolve discrepancies/barriers + Ensure adherence to compliance, legal, and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed + Provide updates on project logs and operations reviews + Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals + Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors **Required Qualifications:** + 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 3+ years of IRS reporting, tax withholding, or commercial mortgage tax experience **Desired Qualifications:** + Strong accounting experience + Detail oriented + The ability to meet deadlines and work in a deadline driven environment + Experience with IRS Reporting on commercial real estate loans + Experience with TAXIE + Reporting experience **Job Expectations:** + This position will sit at one of the posted locations listed below and other locations will not be considered + Visa sponsorship is not available for this position **Location:** + 2800 S Price Rd Chandler, AZ + 550 S Tryon St Charlotte, NC **Other Information:** You should be aware that specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing.
