Job Requirements

* Must LOVE to teach and have fun with children!

* Must be patient, outgoing, organized, and reliable

* English: Native level

* Experience teaching children of all ages in Japan (minimum 2 years of relevant experience)

* Japanese: Basic - Conversational

* Experience residing in Japan

* BA/BS university degree

* Valid work visa

Preferences:

* TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or certified teacher qualifications

* Experience teaching Bilingual programs

* Experience teaching Eiken

* Experience teaching PBL (Project Based Learning), CLIL, Stem/STEAM/STREAM

* Experience teaching basic computer programming or have basic knowledge of it is a plus

* Minimum two years of experience living in Japan

Job Description

ABCDAVID’S English School is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic  English Language Instructor to join our team at our Ibaraki, Osaka branch. This is an  immediate hire position with a focus on delivering student-centered group lessons to learners of all ages and abilities in a private language school setting.

What We Offer

  • Competitive monthly salary: ¥250,000–¥300,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Transportation allowance up to  ¥25,000
  • Employment Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (with two consecutive days off)
  • Workweek: 28.75 hours (to be discussed during the interview)
  • Paid Time Off:
    • 25 company-directed paid days off annually (from day one)
