Kennel Attendant Location Melfort, SK :

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to animals in our facility, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of animal care, strong customer service skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

  • Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercising.
  • Daily cleaning of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for pet owners, providing excellent customer service.
  • Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in animal care.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care.
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
