Junior/Intermediate Java and Flutter Developer Location Halifax, NS :

If you are an enthusiastic junior Java/Flutter developer considering an intermediate position, and are seeking a full-time remote position, this opportunity may interest you!

Howling Wind Games Inc. in Halifax, NS, is looking for an experienced junior to intermediate Java and Flutter developer keen to work on a baseball game's Web and mobile applications. Duties will include day-to-day development of Java Web/Flutter applications in an Agile environment. This is a remote/work from home position, but applicants must be permanent residents of Nova Scotia since December 31, 2023, to qualify.

If you don't know anything about baseball, and have no interest in learning the rules inside and out, you will not be successful in this position.

Remuneration will vary with applicant experience ($45k to $48k).

You must be comfortable and have experience with:

• Web application development using Java
• Mobile application development using Flutter and Dart
• Spring/Spring Boot
• Google Firebase
• Git and Git best practices
• Agile project environments
• Jira or equivalent
• Amazon Web Services knowledge would be an asset
• Exposure to: Unity (C#), Godot; React Native; Node; NextJS; Vue.js would be useful
• Remote working/working from home
• Major League Baseball and gaming would be favorably considered
• Communicating in English (spoken and written)
• Covid19 proof of vaccination required
