Job Description

Our client, a leading organization, is seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant for a short-term assignment. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results and cash accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience with large accounting systems (preferably SAP) and demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities
-Partner with Business Units, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and Billing to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial results and cash accounts.
-Prepare and review monthly reporting, including bank reconciliations and G/L accounts.
-Provide clear and meaningful analysis of all unreconciled transactions for each Bank and G/L account.
-Ensure month-end deadlines and reporting quality standards are met, with a focus on continuous improvement.

-Understand end-to-end financial processes to effectively support daily tasks.
-Leverage technology to minimize manual financial/reporting processes.
-Support Business Units and other departments in resolving issues related to cash transactions.
-Adhere to financial governance controls, including quality assurance and reconciliation.

Qualifications
-Proven experience in a finance/accounting role with exposure to large accounting systems (preferably SAP).
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced analytical and reporting capabilities.
-Demonstrated ability to reconcile multiple bank accounts (over 25) or several high-volume accounts.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred but flexible due to the short-term nature of the role.
