MyRide901 is a tech startup that’s creating a comprehensive mobile app for vehicle owners seeking a digital solution to manage vehicle maintenance.
The app keeps them informed and in control of their maintenance, safety recalls, and reminds them when their vehicles need to be serviced.
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with experience in Flutter and React to join our team during a student work term or co-op placement.

Position Summary
As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to both our mobile and web applications while supporting backend functionality. You’ll gain experience working with a modern technology stack and collaborate with a remote Agile team on features that directly impact our users.

Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter (Dart)
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Implement backend APIs and business logic using Laravel (PHP)
• Work with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Test, debug, and deploy updates to Firebase
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning/review and stand-ups
• Maintain documentation and track work in collaboration tools

• Languages & Frameworks: Laravel (PHP), Flutter (Dart), React (JavaScript/TypeScript), Swift (Xcode)

• Dev & Collaboration Tools: Git, Jira, Notion, Slack, Codebase

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program and returning to full-time studies in Fall 2025
• Working toward a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (3rd or 4th year preferred)
• Experience with Flutter and React development
• Experience working with WordPress
• Familiarity with Laravel or equivalent back-end frameworks
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap)
• Comfortable working with REST APIs and relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team
• Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, or similar is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an Agile development environment

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
• Must be registered at a Canadian post-secondary institution and returning to school in Fall 2025
