Summary:

• Join the local security team and take part in a wide variety of information security and cybersecurity initiatives, working closely with internal and external stakeholders under the guidance of the Regional Information Security Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Create and oversee security resources, initiatives, and frameworks.
• Offer consultancy services and expert advice in security matters.
• Perform risk assessments related to security and devise enhancement strategies.
• Architect and deploy secure systems and configurations.
• Carry out routine security operations, including log analysis, intelligence collection, and evaluation.
• Manage and take the lead on security-related projects.
• Design and deliver security training and exercises for staff across all organizational levels.
• Adapt and sustain group security resources, initiatives, and frameworks to meet local needs.
• Work closely with global teams at the headquarters and in other regions.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Japanese written and verbal communication at a business level or higher.
• Strong English written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally.
• Practical experience with Splunk and/or Palo Alto Firewall.
