• Gain valuable work experience in data management and governance

• Explore a career path in data world especially in Master Data Management and Data Governance

• Develop and refine skills and capability in working environment especially related to data management and governance

Your mandate:

• Support Data Governance Advisor and MDM Coordinator on the elaboration business glossary with business Data Stewards and SMEs; the determination of data criticality in the context of identified business processes; the assessment of general data quality and the identification of data issues.

• Support Data Governance Advisor on the classification of data in a security and privacy context and help prioritize data related risks with Data Stewards, Owners, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

• Support Data Governance Advisor and Master Data  Coordinator on the development and deployment of standards, policies and procedures.

• Support Data Governance Advisor on the design and development of data quality rules to validate the quality of data, as well as dashboards and metrics.

• Support the management and operation of the Data Governance Office including the data stewardship organization and various committees and councils.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PPT

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while still achieving deadlines

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to connect the dots and tell stories using data 

• Detail-oriented person who is passionate about quality and enthusiastic about new technology

• Bilingualism, spoken and written (French and English)
