Akian Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a family-owned, customer service oriented (mostly residential) plumbing, heating, cooling and drain cleaning firm located in Watertown, MA. As an HVAC Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for developing the Greater-Boston Market through a commission-based pay structure for residential HVAC sales. This position will report to the Sales Director and work in coordination with the Operations Manager to design, sell, and implement projects.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a successful track record over a consistent time period in HVAC and/or Sales. Candidates must be highly detail oriented, possess stellar interpersonal communication skills, and display a strong ability to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities :

• Develop the Greater Boston Market for HVAC residential services
• Attain time-bound sales production goals through commission-based business development and sales efforts
• Perform engineering calculations during sales consultations
• Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and various marketing/business development efforts
• Assist the Sales and Install team in various efforts and tasks
• Adhere to APHAC compliance, ethical standards, and sales/tracking procedures

Performance Expectations:

• Annual sales production of $3,600,000.00+
• Marketed Lead conversion rate of 40.00%+
• Tech-Generated Lead conversion rate of 80.00%

Requirements:

• Proven track record in HVAC/Sales
• Knowledge of Air Conditioners, Furnaces, Heat Pumps/Mini-Splits, Boilers, Water Heating Equipment, and Ductwork
• Proficiency in financing, loans, and payment calculations
• Display effective strategies for objection-handling, follow-up processes, and closing sales
• Detail-oriented, highly-organized, ability to work in fast-paced sales environments through effective communication and time management
• Strong interpersonal and written communication
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, Google Workspace, and HVAC-specific CRM/software
