Job Description

We are currently seeking Security Guards to fill full time, part time, and on-call positions for a high profile retail site.

:

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the site.
• Respond to calls for assistance from tenants and customers
• Generate incident reports and maintain a daily notebook
• Adhere to the site operating policies and procedures
• Maintain positive relationships with tenants and customers

Experience and Education:

• Possess a valid Alberta security license
• Possess a valid first aid certificate
• Have a minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education is an asset.
• Have good working knowledge of standard computer programs, including WORD and OUTLOOK
• Additional experience and training in the field of security is an asset.
• Experience in Security/Loss Prevention in a retail environment

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have excellent public relations skills
• Know when and how to use tact and diplomacy
• Be able to apply the training that you receive
• Be able to work independently as well as being able to contribute to the security team
• Be able to think on your feet and deal with any situation
• Be able to assess, prioritize and act quickly in the field
• Be able to work rotating shifts
