We are looking for Health Care Aide/Caregivers in the Langley area. We offer our employees a chance to excel within a strong and supportive team environment, and value and respect as an integral member of our Care Team.
Responsibilities Performs personal care and patient-specific activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:
- Help with patients personal hygiene care
- Assist with dressing
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Performs light housekeeping activities
- Provide hospice supportive care and medication reminders
- Assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Assist with blood glucose monitoring
- Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
QUALIFICATIONS - HCA certified or equivalent (previous experience will be considered)
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
- A Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Valid CPR & First Aid an asset
- Personal Vehicle needed
