Company Profile

A multinational engineering services company with around 1500 employees in Japan are looking for someone to lead a team of four people.

The Role

• The company have recently acquired a large domestic Japanese company and are building a new tech landscape to serve the organization. A lot of work has been completed, but there is plenty to do.
• Reporting directly to the APAC CIO, you will be leading a team of 4-5 people to deliver this transformation. You'll have to work with stakeholders from global, regional, and locally in Japan to do this.
• Whilst many of the employees are Japanese, you will need English language skills to be able to deal with stakeholders in the European head office.
• Many of the upcoming projects will be focused on CRM & ERP systems.

Your Skills

• Fluent Japanese and Business English are both mandatory for this role.
• Business management and knowledge of ERP system implementation would be useful for this role.
• Someone with experience of working in a matrix organization would be ideal.
• Travelling to a key site in Ibaraki-ken will be necessary, most likely 1-2 times per month.
