We are seeking a skilled and motivated  Field Service Generator Technician to perform emergency repairs and planned maintenance on a variety of diesel and gas-powered generators and accessories. This role involves  on-site customer service , diagnostics, and repairs across our service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair generators and related systems at customer sites
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown service
  • Troubleshoot and interpret  electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Inspect and service  Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)up to 3-phase / 480 volts
  • Accurately order parts through the parts department and maintain service records
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company professionally
  • Work independently in the field, managing time and tasks effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in  EPG (Emergency Power Generation) diesel engine , or  electrical troubleshooting
  • Technical degree or military training in diesel or electrical systems is a plus
  • Strong understanding of  electrical schematics and diagnostic procedures
  • Familiarity with  ATS systems and  switchgear
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and integrity
  • Own basic tools for the trade
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • EGSA Certification a plus!
