General Farm Worker - Livestock Patel Farms Ltd Location 2410 N Asphodel 6 Line, Norwood, ON Salary 20.00 hourly / 40 hours per week Full time Day, Evening, Morning Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience Will train Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Handling animals Marking livestock as proof of ownership Mixing fertilizer Monitor the calving process Monitoring animal health Weeding Fertilize and spray crops Harvest crops Feed and tend animals Maintain financial and production records Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting Maintain livestock performance records Maintain quality control and production records Select livestock for sale Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs Perform general farm duties Cut horticultural crops Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots Experience and specialization Area of specialization Agricultural livestock service Agricultural crop service Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Physically demanding Repetitive Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Combination of sitting, standing, walking Large workload Overtime required Personal suitability Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Organized Team player Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Judgement Reliability Quick learner Until: 2025-05-26
