Higher Talent Healthcare is currently seeking qualified Family Physicians, Hospitalists as well as specialist physicians and surgeons for exciting full-time, permanent and locum opportunities on behalf of our client, the Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services. These positions are located in both urban and rural settings across Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

The Opportunity

Multiple full time, permanent and locum opportunities are available in a variety of medical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree with Family Medicine or specialist training
• Certification (or certification eligibility) with the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Eligibility for a license to practice with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
• Ability to meet NL Health Services' credential and privilege requirements, including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

Compensation and Incentives

Compensation starting at $163,812 annually for Family Physicians, $217,525 annually for Hospitalists and $263,672 annually for specialists for full time permanent positions with a comprehensive benefits package including:

• Generous annual leave allowance (Vacation, family, sickness, educational, amidst others)
• Group Insurance benefits (Health, life, travel, amidst other optional group add-ons)
• Employer-sponsored Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)

Compensation starting at $825 per day for Family Physicians, $1,090 per day for Hospitalists and $1,335.00 per day for specialists for locum positions.

Compensation for some positions via Fee-for-Service (FFS) and Alternate Payment Plan (APP).

Reimbursements for travel and relocation expenses available (conditions apply).

Signing and retention bonuses available (conditions apply).
