Job Description:Under the supervision of the superintendent the gardener will be asked to maintain the existing property gardens, hanging basket and planters. These duties include watering, weeding/pruning, pest/disease control, planting, fertilizing, and purchasing of plant material. Beyond this you will be given a great deal of creative control to improve on the existing plantings while also building and designing new ones. There is a small greenhouse for seed propagation and lots of opportunity to create seasonal planters and displays. From time to time you may be asked as time permits to aid in daily golf course set up tasks. Seasonal employment (April-Oct) with competitive compensation based on experience.
