Glasgow Life is looking for Gallery Assistants to join us on a full time (35 hours) or part time (21 or 13.5 hours), fixed term contract for a period up to six months. As a Gallery Assistant you will be joining our in-demand front of house team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports Museums & Collections.

The role
As a Gallery Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the team run by Museums & Collections. Reporting to an Assistant Museum Manager and working alongside an established team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as a Gallery Assistant you’ll need:
•Experience working as front of house staff.
•Flexible attitude to working hours and location.
•Strong people and communication skills.
•Basic literacy and numeracy and IT skills.

Our city-wide contracts mean you will be flexible to work in any of our locations. These roles have a variety of working patterns and include weekend working.
The available hours are below, please indicate your preference in your application form:
- Part Time - 21 Hours on a rotating schedule which includes alternate weekends and evenings, 3 days per week
- Part Time - 13.5 Hours on a rotating schedule which includes alternate weekends and evenings, 2 days per week
- Full Time - 35 Hours on a rotating schedule which includes alternate weekends and evenings, 5 days per week
