Job Description

Lead and optimize supply planning strategies for Japan, collaborating closely with APAC teams. Ensure inventory levels meet commercial goals while supporting seamless supply chain processes.

Description

* Ensure optimal inventory across warehouses to meet customer needs without overstocking.
* Partner with sales, customer service, and production teams to manage and optimize inventory levels.
* Participate in monthly planning cycles to recommend supply purchases.
* Forecast regional inventory needs, set targets, and create action plans to achieve financial goals.
* Collaborate with regional and global teams to determine safety stock settings for each product.
* Enhance and maintain supply planning systems; establish regional KPIs using global standards.
* Conduct analyses to identify issues and leverage metrics for continuous improvement.
* Coordinate smooth launches of new products and manage end-of-life product processes.
* Provide ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.
* Deliver critical inventory data and insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Profile

* 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or supply planning.
* Strong understanding of supply planning principles and cross-functional collaboration.
* Proficient in using multiple data sources for accurate reporting and analytics.
* Detail-oriented and proactive, able to work independently.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Japanese.
* Skilled in Excel, with knowledge of PowerPoint and Word; Oracle ERP and Anaplan experience is a plus.
