We are currently seeking an experienced FPGA Development Engineer on behalf of our client, an innovative leader in advanced technology solutions.

Position Overview:
As an FPGA Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing FPGA-based solutions critical to advanced systems. The successful candidate will bring expertise in digital design, proficiency in hardware description languages, and experience with FPGA development tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test FPGA architectures for high-performance systems.
• Implement VHDL/Verilog code for FPGA designs, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs with hardware and software components.
• Perform feasibility studies to identify optimal design solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to FPGA designs.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for FPGA designs and processes.
• Stay updated on advancements in FPGA technology and apply relevant innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in FPGA design and development.
• Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog hardware description languages.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
• Strong understanding of digital signal processing and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with system interfaces such as CAN, JTAG, I2C, USB, and Ethernet.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lidar systems or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of embedded C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with signal processing algorithms and their FPGA implementation.
• Experience with high-speed data acquisition and processing.
