Job Description

Randstad Brampton is seeking experienced and reliable forklift operators for a night shift position at a busy warehouse facility specializing in food products. This fast-paced environment requires individuals with a strong work ethic and proven experience operating various types of forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, Walkie). The role involves order picking, loading/unloading trailers, and working in a cold storage environment.

Position: Forklift Operator
Shift: Night shift; 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, Sunday to Thursday
Salary: $22.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
Location: Brampton (Bus route accessible)

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include operating walkie, counterbalance, and reach forklifts; picking orders accurately and efficiently; using RF scanners; maintaining a clean and organized work area; and adhering to all safety regulations.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience operating various types of forklifts (Walkie, Counterbalance, Reach). Proven experience in a warehouse setting and experience with RF scanners are essential. The ability to work in a cold environment (-22 Celsius cold storage, -4 Celsius docks) is required. Experience working with food products is preferred. Strong work ethic and attention to detail are also necessary.
