We provide various operational logistics services such as loading, transportation and storage of surplus products.
Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join its vibrant team. This is a permanent full-time position of 40 hours per week. The Compliance department, located at the Montreal Head Office, is responsible for supporting all Ray-Mont Logistics' sites and employees, located in Canada and in the United States. As a professional team member of Ray-Mont Logistics the main responsibilities of the Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst consist of the following:
Job Description - Act as main contact for the forecasting process for the various group entities.
- Update and improve current forecasting financial model
- Provide weekly updates to management regarding expected monthly results and performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly explanations to variances versus forecast.
- Enhance the monthly reporting to both executives and financial partners.
- Develop and improve reporting of company key performance indicators on strategic metrics.
- Create new short term cashflow prediction formats and provide weekly report to Chief Compliance & Administrative Officer (CCAO).
- Prepare improved reporting for accounts receivable and accounts payable weekly performance.
- Develop new thirteen-week treasury forecasts and provide weekly variance analysis to CCAO.
- Lead the implementation of the Budgeting module in financial ERP and act as expert-user
- Assist the CCAO with the foreign exchange risk management process.
- Support the CCAO with the corporate insurance process.
- Assist the Financial and Fiscal Reporting Manager in the implementation of a new FP&A Software
- Participate in all other ad-hoc needs.
Qualifications - Bilingual (French and English) both oral and written bilingual environment, employees mostly anglophone
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA title (asset)
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Understanding of the full accounting cycle
- Good knowledge of the Office Suite, especially of Microsoft Excel
- Asset: Experience with Microsoft D365 for Finance & Operations
