Job Description

A fast-growing global logistics technology company is seeking a Standalone Finance Manager to lead its finance operations in Japan. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is ready to take ownership of all local finance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of financial operations in Japan, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Ensure tax compliance and manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
Collaborate with regional and global teams to align local financial practices with group policies
Provide financial insights to support business decisions and growth strategies
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements:
Solid experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a standalone or startup environment
Strong knowledge of Japanese tax regulations and compliance
Fluency in both Japanese and English (required for internal and external communication)
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
