The Role

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for Japan business units
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with JGAAP and IFRS
• Drive financial strategy aligned with business goals and growth initiatives
• Partner with senior leadership to support operational decision-making and business development
• Manage audit processes, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members to build a high-performing department
• Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure alignment and best practices

Your Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles, ideally in consulting or professional services
• Fluent in Japanese and English, both spoken and written
• Strong knowledge of JGAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Proven experience in financial strategy, analysis, and risk management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
