About the Role:
A global industrial materials company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Controller to lead financial operations and ensure robust financial governance. This role is critical in supporting strategic decision-making, driving compliance, and enhancing financial performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
Manage internal controls, audits, and risk assessments
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
Supervise and develop finance team members

Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
7+ years of experience in financial management or controlling roles
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel
Excellent communication skills in Japanese & English
Analytical, proactive, and business-oriented mindset
