Berkley, an imprint at Penguin Random House, seeks an Editorial Assistant to join its team. The assistant's role would be to provide administrative and editorial support for an Executive Editor and an Editorial Director on an impressive list of romance, book club fiction, thrillers, mystery, and suspense. Daily responsibilities include all-around project support for the editors, proposal/manuscript reading and editing, drafting cover copy, and brainstorming creative publishing approaches and solutions to help authors/books through the entire publication process. This position also acts as a liaison between authors, agents, and different departments within Berkley.

The PRH office is located in New York, NY. This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence approximately two days per week. We will consider candidates who are able to commute to our office at 1745 Broadway from the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT, and PA).
The salary for this position is $51,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
