Job Summary: Responsible for co-developing the design, delivery and evaluation of anti-racism and anti-oppression initiatives to enhance efforts that promote equity, diversity and inclusion across the Department. Works closely and collaborates with the FHS EDI office as required. Purpose and Key Functions:
  • Work with faculty leadership in the creation and ongoing evolution of appropriate EDI initiatives across distributed sites.
  • Identify and maintain collaborative connections and promote awareness of, and relevant participation in, initiatives of other EDI offices and groups on campus to both inform and learn from initiatives implemented within the Department.
  • Refer individuals to various workplace supports and appropriate offices on campus.
  • Co-develop the annual goal planning and budget planning process in the Department by developing, monitoring and reconciling budgets related to EDI and anti-racism initiatives.
  • Analyze, review and report on metrics related to impact of EDI events, campaigns, programs and activities within the Department
  • Implement educational and programming needs assessments and develop benchmarks and metrics to evaluate and assess the delivery, use and efficacy of training programs and resources.
  • Recommend continuous improvements and revisions to training programs and resources.
  • Develop, deliver and maintain training and education offerings within the department.
  • Write a variety of documents such as correspondence, reports, presentations, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with the Department's Communication team to manage EDI content on Department's webpage in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Plan, coordinate and evaluate EDI and anti-racism initiatives and community engagement approaches within the Department including events.
  • Prepare estimates of time and resources required for programming and events.
  • Stay informed and provide recommendations of best practices in EDI training and education offerings.
