Early Learning at the Gardens is a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool program for children ages three to five. We follow an emergent curriculum and plan our day based on the interests of the children.

We are seeking 2 full-time educators to join our fun and dynamic team and support inclusion within the preschool's emergent curriculum program. The rate of pay will be dependent on the level of certification.

Start date: September 2025

Days/Hours: Monday-Fridays/Hours vary

Responsibilities:

As an Early Childhood Educator at Early Learning at the Gardens you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young learners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Maintaining open communication with team members and participating in staff meetings.
• Ensuring that all health, safety and licensing regulations are met.
• Help with classroom prep and clean up.

Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education diploma or at least level 2 certification.
• Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members.

Desired Qualities:

• Passionate about early childhood education and child development.
• Creative and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to build strong relationships with children and families.
• Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or a related field will be considered an asset.
