The Role

• Ensure that a site-wide quality system for pharmaceuticals is in place to ensure compliance and business licenses.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with quality standards, health and safety, and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical oversight and accountability for GMP/GDP and quality related approaches and results.
• Lead quality and continuous improvement programs to improve profitability.
• Lead internal and external quality inspections and regulatory controls.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and resolve issues.
• Understand external regulatory requirements, identify and communicate risks and opportunities to relevant parties.
• Proactively interact with and influence pharmaceutical industry regulators in Japan.
• Drive change and efficiency while maintaining compliance.
• Collaborate and provide guidance with regional and global quality networks.
• Mentor and develop the team to optimize employee performance and development.
• Build a talent pipeline for the Quality department to support growth.
