Description

The successful candidate will be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who aligns with Hope Bible Church. The heart of this role is to encourage and shepherd God’s people by providing leadership and vision to ministry development, coordination, implementation, and direction to all aspects of the Hope Youth and Young Adults Ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Vision:
   • Provide leadership and pastoral care to youth and young adults through preaching, teaching, counselling, and ministry direction.
   • Align ministry goals with the church’s overall mission and priorities.
2. Team and Leader Development:
   • Oversee, equip, and disciple leaders within the youth and young adult ministries.
   • Recruit, develop, and equip new leaders and multiply leadership capacity.
3. Ministry and Event Coordination:
   • Develop annual ministry plans, including weekly meetings, activities, and events such as retreats and camps.
   • Ensure administrative and logistical needs for weekly meetings, activities, and events are met.
4. Additional Duties:
   • Conduct other responsibilities as required, including counselling, leadership development, and special events.
   • Preach and manage other assigned duties as needed.
   • Develop and manage the yearly budget for the ministry.

Time Commitment:

• Required to attend all weekly youth and young adult meetings, and special events.
• Required to attend all weekend services, special services, and churchwide events.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the Lead Pastor.

This position is vital for encouraging and shepherding youth and young adults toward spiritual awareness and maturity, ministry involvement, and a deep relationship with Christ.
