Description

The successful candidate will be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ who aligns with Hope Bible Church. The heart of this role is to encourage and shepherd God’s people by providing leadership and vision to ministry development, coordination, implementation, and direction to all aspects of Integration and Discipleship.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integration Ministry Oversight:
   • Lead the integration process from first-time visitors to committed members actively worshipping, walking (small groups), and working (serving).
   • Recruit, develop, and equip a team to fulfill ministry objectives.
2. Member Care, Connection, and Development:
   • Ensure follow-up with visitors, care for urgent prayer requests, and track absent members.
   • Support baptism, membership, and serving role processes.
3. Additional Responsibilities:
   • Lead special classes, preach, and manage other assigned duties as needed.
   • Conduct weddings, funerals, visitations, and assist with biblical soul care as needed.
   • Develop and manage the yearly budget for the ministry.

Time Commitment:

• Required to attend all weekend services, special services, and churchwide events.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the Lead Pastor.

This role is pivotal in fulfilling the mission and vision of Hope Bible Church Markham by encouraging and shepherding God’s people toward spiritual maturity and active ministry participation.
