Are you a registered Sonographer looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Sonography department.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and in accordance with the standards of professional practice, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures/examinations and related duties working in collaboration with radiologists/cardiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:00 to 16:00

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity. Services include:
• Acute Care

• Obstetrics
• Gynecology

Qualfications
•Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography). Current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, generalist, cardiac, and/or vascular). Active membership in good standing with ARDMS and/or Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS).

•Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and a commitment to excellence in the provision of client care.
•Equipment: Demonstrated data analysis skills including appropriate data analysis and reporting tools. Demonstrated ability in the use of e-mail and word processing. Ability to operate other related equipment as required in the specific practice area.
•Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
