Job Title: Job Captain Job Description This role requires a dynamic designer to lead site visits and surveys, with a strong understanding of workplace design and layout to effectively communicate project needs. Proficiency in Revit software is essential for successful execution of design tasks and production responsibilities. Responsibilities + Lead site visits and surveys to assess and document project requirements. + Utilize knowledge of workplace design and layout for accurate communication of project needs. + Expertly manage all phases of projects through construction administration. + Develop and handle Construction Documents (CDs) with precision. + Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members to share updates and project details. + Perform redlines and markups on projects and drawings to ensure accuracy. + Apply knowledge of California Code to develop project solutions. + Drive projects through phases using Revit software. + Engage in conceptual design, rendering, finishes, and lighting as part of front-end involvement. + Contribute to the design and production processes with focus on finishes and construction documentation. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit software. + Comprehensive understanding of workplace design and layout. + Experience with construction administration and documentation. + Familiarity with California Code for project solution development. + Ability to perform site surveys and related administrative tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of tenant improvement projects. + Experience in corporate workplace architecture and design. + Strong conceptual design and rendering skills. + Ability to voice opinions and contribute to project changes. Work Environment The role offers a hybrid working schedule, with Mondays and Fridays designated as work-from-home days. The office is newly renovated, providing a collaborative space where designers are encouraged to share their input. The firm supports licensing and renewal costs, promoting quick career growth and merit increases every six months. With a steady flow of work, the team remains engaged and productive. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.26/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
